Dry ends and knots can make clean hair feel unfinished. This concentrated conditioner is designed primarily for medium, thick, and coarse hair. It softens rough lengths, eases detangling and leaves damaged-looking hair easier to manage.

Standard No. 5 has a richer feel than No. 5 Fine. Fine hair that loses volume easily may prefer the lighter version.

How to use
  1. After shampooing, squeeze the excess water out of the hair before applying. The conditioner distributes and penetrates more evenly on damp hair that is not fully saturated. This one step improves how well the product absorbs into the lengths and ends.
  2. This formula is highly concentrated. Start with a small amount, roughly the size of a 2-rupee coin, and add more only if the hair feels it needs it. Apply from mid-lengths downward to the ends. Do not work the conditioner into the scalp or root area. The scalp does not need conditioning in the same way the lengths do, and applying product at the roots can flatten hair and cause buildup at the scalp over time.
  3. Leave the conditioner on for 1 to 3 minutes, depending on the current condition of the hair. For hair that feels dry, brittle, or has been chemically processed recently, the full 3 minutes gives the patented Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate (Olaplex Bond Building Technology) enough contact time to interact with weakened bond sites in the hair structure. For healthier hair used in a maintenance routine, 1 to 2 minutes is enough.
  4. Rinse thoroughly using cool or lukewarm water. Hot water at this stage reopens the cuticle and can reduce the conditioning benefit that was just delivered. Cool water seals the cuticle down, locks in the moisture and bond-building actives, and directly contributes to the smoother, shinier result after drying. Use at every wash as part of the No.4 and No.5 system.
