• Step 1: Cleanse your face first and pat the skin dry. Apply the BHA directly on freshly cleansed skin. A basic hydrating toner with no active ingredients can go on before the BHA if that is part of your routine. Skip straight from cleanser to BHA if your toner contains any actives or acids.
• Step 2: Soak a cotton pad lightly in the liquid. Do not saturate it. Sweep the pad across your face, neck, and chest in one smooth motion. Avoid the eyelids and lash line entirely. The texture is water-like and absorbs in seconds.
• Step 3: Do not rinse. This is a leave-on exfoliant. Rinsing removes the active 2% salicylic acid before it can penetrate the pore lining and do its work.
• Step 4: Wait 1-2 minutes for full absorption. Then apply the rest of your routine, such as moisturiser, serum, or facial oil. Products absorb noticeably better after exfoliation because the layer of dead cells that normally blocks absorption has been cleared away.
• Step 5: Apply SPF 30 or higher every morning when using this product. BHA accelerates skin cell turnover, which increases sensitivity to UV exposure. Sunscreen is non-negotiable with regular use, not an optional extra.
